The Bukit Timah School was started in 2007 and is the first Taekwondo school in the Bukit Timah area. Currently located at 9 Binjai Park, the school is led by Mr Lai Han Seng, who has two decades of coaching experience and has won numerous awards in his journey to spread his passion for Taekwondo. His two bachelor and three master degrees epitomize his belief in life-long learning which he does his best to inculcate to his students. Besides being an ex-National athlete in both Kyorugi and Poomsae, Mr Lai is also an examiner appointed by the Singapore Taekwondo Federation. Besides Mr Lai, the team also includes champions and medalists in kyorugi, poomsae and demonstration techniques as well as diploma and degree holders in sports-related disciplines. As the instructors also come from different countries and different cultures (i.e. Australia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines & Singapore), their diverse backgrounds help to enrich the Taekwondo experience of the students. |
